Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions are printed on the reverse of festival tickets:

  • This ticket does not entitle you to re-admission to the site.
  • No glass (including perfume/makeup bottles) is allowed on site.
  • Each adult can bring up to 750ml of wine (in a plastic container) OR four normal-sized cans of standard strength beer OR cider OR up to four cans of pre-mixed spirits e.g. gin & tonic onto the Festival site. No home-mixed spirits are allowed. Excessive or pre-mixed alcohol will be confiscated. Please do not buy alcohol for minors.
  • ROTW promotes responsible drinking and the bars operate a strict Challenge 25 Policy – please bring ID with you.
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • ROTW reserves the right to carry out bag searches and refuse admission or eject ticket holders without refund in reasonable circumstances. This includes being under the influence of alcohol or drugs, possessing unauthorised items or behaving in a manner deemed unsociable or dangerous.
  • Ticket holders consent to the filming, photographing and sound recording of themselves whilst on the Festival site.
  • BBQs and other open flames, fireworks, smoke canisters, offensive weapons or other similar items are not allowed on site.
  • The event takes place on a green field and the ground may be uneven.
  • ROTW reserves the right to make alterations to the advertised line-up.
  • There is every likelihood that the performance volume will exceed 96dB in some areas of the site.
  • With the exception of guide dogs, no animals are permitted.
  • Strictly no camping.
  • ROTW reserve the right to cancel all or part of the Festival without refund due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control that amount to Force Majeure.

EVENTS BEYOND OUR REASONABLE CONTROL (FORCE MAJEURE)

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, ‘Force Majeure’ means any cause beyond our control including, without limitation, act of God, war, insurrection, riot, civil disturbances, acts of terrorism, fire, explosion, flood, theft or breakdown of essential equipment, failure of supply of electricity or gas, leakage of water, malicious damage, strike, lock out, weather, third party injunction, national defence, emergency services, the local EHO and/or the Event Organisers requirements, acts or regulations of national or local governments. We will not be liable to you for failure to perform any obligation under these Terms and Conditions to the extent that the failure is caused by Force Majeure.
