Our Outreach Programme in 2014
Events in 2014 included a drumming workshop at a local home for disabled young people and a five-week session at a local care home for the elderly, where they sampled everything from jazz to folk to bluegrass. We also worked with performers, The Absentees (see below), to deliver appropriate and engaging workshops with a group of elderly people with dementia. This received overwhelmingly positive feedback from both perfomers and attendees.
