Tickets are now on sale for Moishe’s Bagel’s triumphant return to Hitchin on Saturday 18th February. Performing at the Queen Mother Theatre, the concert will be the first of the ‘Rhythms of the World Presents’ series.
The band’s outstanding performance on St Mary’s Stage at this year’s festival wowed the packed audience who loved every minute of the thrillingly original, cutting-edge klezmer and folk music from some of Scotland’s finest musicians. An intoxicating, life-affirming mix of Eastern European dance music, Middle Eastern rhythms and virtuoso performances. Support for the evening comes from local legend Stuart O’Connor.
Tickets priced £13 are on sale from the Queen Mother Theatre, Harvest Moon and Hitchin Town Centre Initiative as well as David’s Music in Letchworth. Tickets purchased on the evening will be priced at £15.
Steve Smither, Performance Director for Rhythms of the World, says: “This is the first of what we hope will be an ongoing series of World Music concerts throughout the year as Rhythms looks to expand its activities beyond the festival weekend. It’s our extreme pleasure to welcome Moishe’s Bagel back to Hitchin for what promises to be a very special evening”.
Doors will open at 7:30pm and the concert starts at 8pm.
