Calling all eggheads - Rhythms Quiz Night 19th March

More fabulous acts confirmed for the 2010 line-up

We are proud to announce acts who will be performing on the main stage at this year's festival. Palestinian singer, musician and broadcaster Reem Kelani will be performing on Saturday 24th July; and americana/skiffle foursome, the Dodge Brothers, will be taking to the stage on Sunday 25th July (including a well-known face on the double bass).

Rhythms on the radio

Listen out for a piece on Rhythms of the World 2010 BBC Three Counties Radio on Saturday (January 30) at 8.20am. Communications group head Leigh Williams will give the low-down on the festival of world music, planned for Saturday July 24 and Sunday July 25 in the grounds of the Hitchin Priory.

ROTW reaches the finals of Regional Enjoy England Awards for Excellence 2009

We are proud to announce ROTW made it to the final three in the 'Best Tourism Event/Festival' category. The Enjoy England Awards for Excellence are recognised as the premier awards for the tourism industry.  The regional awards highlight the quality of the tourism industry in the eastern region.

ROTW Benefit Gig at Club 85 in June

The next ROTW benefit gig will be on Friday, 12th June, at Club 85, Whinbush Road, Hitchin. Doors open at 7:30pm and the line-up features The Stu O'Connor Band, The October Game, The James Bay Trio and Muntjac.

Bob meets the Sheriff!

Bob Mardon, as ROTW Performance Director and the main driving force behind Rhythms for the past eight years, and who stood down from the ROTW organizing committee at last years festival for a well earned rest and get his life back, has been rightly recognized by the High Sheriff of Hertfordshire for his huge efforts to ROTW and the community ideals it represents!
